RELINQUISHMENT PROCESS

The first step of this process is to submit a Relinquishment Application. The purpose of this application is to understand more about the animal you are looking to relinquish.

Once submitted, we will be notified that you are looking to relinquish, and we will be able to contact our foster team with this information to determine what our intake availability is. This application does not guarantee animal relinquishment approval as we want to ensure we have foster placement first. If approved, we will contact you via email with a Relinquishment Agreement and steps moving forward to coordinate animal pickup.

OUR FOSTER
TEAM

We utilize foster homes through our volunteers. This allows us to operate throughout the entire state of Wisconsin, granting the ability to distribute our workload across different homes & network with other veterinarians. This ensures that the animal is receiving daily care, attention, and that all of their needs are being met. Foster homes allow us to understand every animal that comes into our care so they are treated as an individual. We can guarantee that your pet will be treated as our very own.

VETERINARY CARE FOR EVERY ANIMAL

Every animal that comes into our care is guaranteed a veterinary exam & continued supportive care guided by our doctor. We want to ensure every animal has a medical record to send with them to their new home. Doing this will allow us to catch potential illness before it is too late, and help us maintain top-of-the-line care for each animal like they are our very own. Before an animal is adopted into a new home, our veterinarian will provide us with a clean bill of health once any medical concerns are disclosed and the animal is deemed healthy. By having a thorough adoption process, we can assure you that each animal will be placed in the appropriate home.

Dr. Sarah Wolfe at the Animal Hospital of De Pere is our primary veterinarian for wellness & emergency cases.
