I'm interested in adopting. Where can I find an adoption application?

I would like to volunteer. What is that process like? And what would be expected of me?

I would like to relinquish an animal. How can I do this? Where will my animal go?

Volunteers are always welcomed, but we have an application process prior to becoming a volunteer. Please email us at angelsforarchie@gmail.com or use our website contact form to receive this application. After you have completed the application, a board member will communicate a date and time that works best for both parties to converse via phone or video conference; at this time, we will discuss your application and address any questions you might have. After that, your application will be under review by the rest of the Archie's Angels board; this process can take up to one week. If your application is accepted, we will forward you a volunteer contract to complete. Once the volunteer contract is returned to us, you are officially a volunteer.

Currently, volunteers will be expected to help at events. It is not a requirement to attend every event. We will train you on how to properly handle animals and understand the mission of Archie's Angels. A volunteer expected to interact with the general public to answer questions and educate. If you have not worked with reptiles previously, but would like to gain the experience, we would love to have you as part of our team.

Thank you for your interest in adoption. Please email us at angelsforarchie@gmail.com so we can forward you an application and talk you through the adoption process. Alternatively, you can use the contact form at the bottom of our website and we will reach out to you.

Archie's Angels is a foster-based program. Because of this, our available space can be limited. If you have an inquiry, please reach out to us via email at angelsforarchie@gmail.com, Facebook Messenger, or use our website contact form. This process can take up to a week depending upon current availability of foster homes. If we have the availability, we will email you a relinquishment contract to complete, then discuss a time that you can meet up with an Archie's Angels volunteer.

Why is there a relinquishment fee?

There is a $35.00/animal relinquishment fee. If you are relinquishing two or more animals at the same time, this fee drops to $30.00/animal. This fee is waived if the enclosure and all supplies are relinquished with the animal at the time of meetup.

Every animal that comes into our care receives a veterinary visit with Dr. Sarah Wolfe. This is to determine if there are any health and/or behavior concerns. Once the animal has received a clean bill of health, they are ready for adoption. Your relinquishment fee covers the veterinary exam and/or purchase new supplies for the animal. If you choose to relinquish the enclosure and supplies with the animal, we will use donated funds to cover veterinary costs.

Can I foster an animal?

Please send us an email or inquiry through our website contact form to apply to be a foster. We are always looking for foster homes, and would be delighted to go through the process with you. Archie's Angels does what we can to supply enclosures, lighting, décor, and enrichment for every animal going into foster care.

I don't see my question. What do I do?

If you cannot find an answer you are looking for here, please reach out to us and we will do everything we can to help and respond within a timely manner. You can reach us via email at angelsforarchie@gmail.com, by using the contact form on our website, or by calling (920) 574-4490. If we do not respond via phone, please leave a voicemail so we can get back to you as soon as possible.

I don't see your location. Where are you located?

We service the entirety of Wisconsin through a network of volunteers & fosters. Most of our volunteers are located in the Brown County & Fox Valley areas, though we have foster homes even as far as Madison & Milwaukee. We currently do not have a location available to general public as we rely on our volunteers for animal care in their own homes and aid in educational outreach at public events. Through networking with volunteers, we are able to expand our animal intake & educational outreach without overwhelming a single household or individual with this responsibility. This also allows us to pinpoint a potentially contagious animal upon intake, reduce exposure to other foster animals, and allow us to utilize another foster home to continue doing what we do.
